Who you talk to, and what to ask

How Our Network Works

Who picks up the phone

Your call is routed to an independent provider in our network. That person runs their own coating business. They are not a Eventsracial Floor Coating employee, and Eventsracial Floor Coating does not do the work. Availability and call hours vary by provider.

What the provider may ask

Expect a few direct questions:

  • Where is the floor: garage, basement, patio or interior?
  • About how many square feet?
  • Is the concrete bare, sealed, painted or already coated?
  • Do you see cracks, flaking, stains or moisture?
  • Do you want a certain look, such as flakes or a custom floor finish?

Photos help. They let the provider judge the job before visiting.

Questions to put to a provider

Ask these before you agree to anything:

  • How will you prep the slab? Grinding is the usual standard for epoxy garage floors.
  • Which product do you use, and why: epoxy, polyaspartic or another concrete coating?
  • How long before I can walk on it, and drive on it?
  • What is covered by your warranty, and in writing?
  • Are you licensed and insured as your state requires?
  • Can I have a written quote that lists the steps?

Some providers also handle hardwood flooring installation. If that is your project, ask.

The decision is yours

You are not required to hire the provider you speak with. Compare quotes if you like. Costs vary by job, so rely on written numbers, not phone estimates.
